The story of Aiisha Ramadan Resort 2016
As I’ve previously written an article on this topic, I will be brief in this one. Since I was a little girl, I’ve always pictured myself living in different eras and asking myself.. what if? I was particularly fascinated by the golden age from both Hollywood and the Middle East. To be very specific, the way the characters from these movies behaved, spoke and moved. It was simply graceful. They made anything they wore look glamorous and immaculate.
What if I could bring these characters (in my imagination) to our 21st Century? What would they wear? I imagined Audrey Hepburn in my creme crepe top and shorts with a long side mustard printed belt. I imaged Rita Hayworth in a long a flowy red fuchsia chiffon silk dress. I imaged Faten Hamama in a tefta silk creme long gown with pipping on the bust for texture. This is how my Resort 2016 was born. I closed my eyes and brought these incredible figures to my 21st Century.

Our perfect model, Olga Verdetti, wore some magnificent diamonds from Dhamani 1969 collection, had her impeccable makeup done by Ashleigh King from Shiseido and her hair by Khaled Kahel from Colour Masters Dubai.
