The in depth story behind AIISHA Fall 2016

While I present to you the full range and story before my latest Fall 2016 from my brand AIISHA, I’m getting ready to visit New York for the first time ever to meet buyers and present to them my SS 2017.

I’ll leave that till another post. Now I’d like to tell you about the story and inspiration behind my Fall 2016 collection ‘Senses’. Just like its name, this collection is really about my 5 senses. If you’ve noticed, I’m rarely inspired by a building or an artist. Maybe one day I will be. However, I’m at an age where I’m evolving quickly and this process is generated from within me. It makes me connect and feel my purpose in life further. This is why my recent collections are a reflection of my own and deep emotions.

This collection was presented at Vendome Luxury in Paris earlier this year and I’ve already shared with you what each sense meant to me in a separate post.

For now, I’d like to unveil to you the full collection, which is available for order in a variety of colors. My favorite looks in particular is the black jumpsuit with the one-sided cape fully embroidered my hand-illustration featuring a Japanese girl with the cherry blossoms. In this Fall 2016 I also liked to shed the light on some unique features such as the embroidered exterior pocket. I was luck to see Shraddha Kapoor snatching a look from this collection right from our rails from Paris.
