While Bollywood celebrities attended Mukesh Abmani’s pre-wedding bash for his niece in floor length gowns and classic soiree looks, Shraddha Kapoor opted for a mixed length pre-couture gown from our latest Spring Summer 2017 collection in Gold.
Unconventional and breaks the norms, Shraddha Kapoor in my opinion is one of the few Bollywood celebrities who really embraces her own individuality. As a huge supporter for highlighting uniqueness, I loved Shraddha’s look. I believe there’s no one right look to attend a wedding party, it’s what makes you feel great and stand out in a flattering sense. One doesn’t “have” to wear an embroidered floor length gown to fit in. On the contrary, why fit in when you can look outstandingly beautiful especially if you have the figure for it?
But then that’s me, and clearly Shraddha Kapoor as well as her team. Celebrity stylist Tanya Gavri and her team are some of the most talented in their fields and on repetitive occasions, Tanya has had my looks rated on her clients under the Best Dressed lists. For that and for her grace, I’m truly grateful.
The gold gown in discussion is from our latest collection Parc en Cielle, and is from our pre-couture range. Made of Italian guipure with a corset base and hand-embroidered pockets, Shraddha let the dress bling with its metallic threads and went for my favorite type of hair and makeup, both natural having her beauty glow inside out.
Thank you Shraddha Kapoor, Tanya and Nidhi.
