Makeup competition by FACES on MBC TV!

Every Sunday on MBC TV, Sabah Al Kheir Ya Arab, FACES will be hosting a show where young talents compete to win the title of being the official makeup artist for FACES. Each week there will be a theme that the contestants should follow. I have had the pleasure to be invited as one of three judges on this weekly reality tv competition.

Below is the intro episode for this beautiful competition that aired Sunday 12th May.

This weeks theme was “Dreamy Bridal”. I can’t wait to share with you the results!

I look forward to learning interesting techniques and to find an incredible talent to work with on my upcoming projects. Above all, I love everything that brings out the best in people and that supports talent.

Mirror (A Prologue)

April 15th will mark the launch of my latest high-end Ready-to-Wear collection “I by Aiisha” under the title of “Mirror”. The launch will be in a form of a fashion show and a video campaign featuring celebrities from the Middle East, North Africa and Bollywood, who will attend the fashion show.

On that day, my guests and I will be surrounded by everything beautiful!

Dramatic trains are the focal point of our signature pieces. Adorned with Swarovski Elements, some have the lace speak a fairy tale for its viewers.

Aiisha & FLAKE – Part 2

The second part of my project with Flake was a moving picture of how I let myself go in a moment of complete happiness and freedom. It was based on a story that I wrote in high school and scored a A+ for it. Never in my life did I imagine that one day I’ll get to live this story and share it with others. The video also includes a detailed explanation for how to get on with creating your mood board in case you weren’t familiar with what a mood board is. Furthermore, it clarifies that your mood board should be inspired by Flake reflecting a lifestyle and may include anything you want on it. I’ll be selecting the winner, who will see her story come to life in a fashion photo shoot for Flake. Visit Flake Arabia to enter the competition. If you win, you get to style a fashion photo shoot exclusively with me, using your mood bard as the inspiration. The photos will then be published in a leading Pan Arab magazine!

Aiisha & FLAKE – Part 1

In my line of work, I’ve collaborated with many brands and people as you may know. However, my collaboration with Flake chocolate is one that touches a particularly dear subject to my heart, which is supporting talent. I couldn’t be happier to be a part of Flake’s initiative to support the Arab talent in the “mood board” competition. Flake relates to my childhood when in life I had little to worry about and plenty of pleasures that I looked forward to as part of my days.

This competition is running mainly in KSA and the UAE for female students who like to express their creativity. It captures the philosophy of both AIISHA and Flake where we ask people to “let themselves go” and untie themselves from their “in control” persona that almost every one of us has during our working days.

My amazing and inspirational project with Flake is launched in parts. Part 1 is available now as a video on their Facebook page – this video acts as my timeline and achievements, but be on the lookout of my favorite – part 2, soon to be launched – which reveals “my secret getaway” and how I lose myself in my own dreams.

On Flake Arabia’s Facebook fan page, I’m sharing a lot of interesting fashion and style tips for fashionistas and people interested in becoming fashion designers. I’m so thrilled to share with you my latest news, my favorite news yet!

I’ve collaborated with FROST boutique on launching AIISHA White for FROST Bridal. The collection is already in store and has been a success! It includes 9 designs and more will follow within the next couple of weeks.
FROST stocks a high end selection of bridal wear such as Carolina Herrera, Marchesa, Oscar de la Renta and now AIISHA and more! Apart from the bridal line, you can also find our AIISHA Couture at FROST. In addition to the present selection of Bridal and Couture evening wear, we customize from scratch!
It makes me want to celebrate my wedding all over again!

AIISHA nominated Best Regional Designer – Grazia Style Awards!

For the second year in a row, I’m shortlisted as one of the Best Regional Designers by Grazia Style Awards. The event takes place on the 4th of April and the votes are still open.
