Every Sunday on MBC TV, Sabah Al Kheir Ya Arab, FACES will be hosting a show where young talents compete to win the title of being the official makeup artist for FACES. Each week there will be a theme that the contestants should follow. I have had the pleasure to be invited as one of three judges on this weekly reality tv competition.

I finally launched my first ever high-end ready-to-wear line I by Aiisha and little did I know it would take the Middle East by storm! Women are hungry for pieces with class and quality for everyday and I’m giving it to them. After realeasing our I by Aiisha video campaign for our collection titled “Mirror” with celebrities Joelle Mardinian, Asma Lmnawar, Mohamad Abuobeid and Arjan Bajwa, it was time to give Dubai a real taste of my new line.
The story of this line is about women’s individuality and evolution. With simplistic lines, statement colours and structured fit, this line suits women with differing needs, backgrounds and tastes. Specifically, the ‘Mirror’ collection reveals the 2 sides of every story and multitude of characters that each person can embody.
Our vision for the brand came to life with support from the Infiniti Centre, part of the Arabian Automobiles Co. A powerful, luxurious and classy brand, these same elements are incorporated within our ‘Mirror’ collection. Months of hard work and planning was facilitated with the cutting edge technology of the Blackberry Z10. Wella Koleston crowned the models and Asma Lmnawar’s hair with trendy hair styles reflected in clean lines of perfection. Revlon was a trendsetter painting the models nails with black French manicure on nude base.
Revlon also touched the models faces and Asma Lmnawar’s with brushes of beauty marking fierce cat eyes on structured nude faces. 5 star catering DISH and Voss water from Norway treated invitees with a refined taste and refreshing water.
Select invitees received their invitations with a special treat that made their hearts beat so fact! A beautiful La Prairie gift bag!

After the success of our first bridal collection for Frost, we decided to pleasantly surprise our clientele with a collection that is set to redefine the parameters of white elegance. Aiisha’s White for Frost 2013 bridal collection bridges the intricacy of couture with the understated glamour of ready to wear.
This ready to wear collection, which is more relevant to our Couture style using extensive amounts of Italian tulle, silk and French lace is set to appeal to a true modern yet timeless bride. Sleeves and beaded lace with an antique style hand beading are the main elements reflected in this collection that marks the return of “less is more”. Less skin to show will only make the bride appear more gorgeous than even through our designs that were inspired by the authenticity and of iconic bridal dresses across the history of bridal couture. Dramatic trains are the focal point of our signature pieces. Adorned with Swarovski Elements, some have the lace speak a fairy tale for its viewers.

The Dubai International Film Festival came in a festive season, one that calls for celebrations, great movies and lots of good fashion. This year, the DIFF had 3 beautiful ladies wearing AIISHA Couture to its red carpet.
♥ Joelle Mardinian: Celebrity makeup artist, Max Factor Ambassador and TV personality Joelle Mardinian wore a Champaign Forest couture dress from AIISHA Couture. Joelle, known for her style, took a new whimsical approach for the DIFF and looked dreamy!

♥ Raya Abirached: The top international movies are weekly anticipated by millions of viewers on MBC2 waiting for Raya to give us her “Scoop” meeting with all our favorite A-List celebrities. Raya is also the host of Arab’s Got Talent and is the ambassador of Head & Shoulders. She is the most natural beauty & warm personality that I have ever met. Raya chose a simpler version of Black Forest for the 2nd day of the DIFF and hosted the award ceremony with Cate Blanchette.
♥ Aseel Omran: Aseel become a known face after her reality show on MBC TV exploring her artistic future where she then took a leap and became a full time actress and singer. Aseel, is by far one of the most elegant and delicate ladies to cross my way. Aseel chose a white Magical dress for the final day at the DIFF.

The second part of my project with Flake was a moving picture of how I let myself go in a moment of complete happiness and freedom. It was based on a story that I wrote in high school and scored a A+ for it. Never in my life did I imagine that one day I’ll get to live this story and share it with others. The video also includes a detailed explanation for how to get on with creating your mood board in case you weren’t familiar with what a mood board is. Furthermore, it clarifies that your mood board should be inspired by Flake reflecting a lifestyle and may include anything you want on it. I’ll be selecting the winner, who will see her story come to life in a fashion photo shoot for Flake. Visit Flake Arabia to enter the competition.
