Last year I purchased about 12 of Sami Amin genuine leather and hand-made bags. That was no ordinary customer’s order. The fact is that it was a gift to myself and an appetizer to a totally new direction in my fashion career. A letter to my Cièlle on Mothers Day

Mothers Day never meant much to me until I had my own child. As my beautiful daughter Cièlle turned 3 years old on the 25th of March, a few days after Mothers Day is celebrated in the Middle East, I found myself writing her a letter reflecting my thoughts at the moment and that I hope can get better year after year. I was contacted by Jon Jensen, producer of Inside the Middle East on CNN, three times before the interview actually took place. The first phone call included extensive questions about me and my business. I later learned that those questions were asked to a list of 20-something other designers in the UAE. Based on the answers & the content, I was selected to be featured. I’m truly humbled by that and was extremely excited to see a part of my dream come true.

نسرين طافش تقتحم عالم الموسيقى بصوت حنون و أداء رائع

نسرين تؤمن بأن لا حدود للفن و هي قد كانت لديها رغبة من أكثر من ٧ سنوات في الغناء ولكنها فضلت الإنتظار للوقت المناسب. حينما إتخذت القرار، تلقت نسرين طافش دروس للعزف و للغناء مع أساتذة من موسيقى الوطن العربي. كانت النتيجة البوم أول أغانيه هي أغنية رومانسية بعنوان ‘ متغير علي ‘ من ألحان و كلمات إياد الريماوي و توزيع جان ماري رياشي. أما التصوير فقد كان في بيروت من إخراج سعيد الماروق.
